The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Sana'a, Mohammed Al Jaber, announced the approval of the royal court to open a consular affairs office in Jeddah for the Kingdom's Embassy in Sana'a and Consulate in Aden, and to issue visas from there. He noted that the service offices accredited to the Embassy in Sana'a and Consulate in Aden will receive passports and documents and send them to the Consular Affairs Office of the Embassy in Jeddah. He explained that the royal directive is an extension of the Kingdom's leadership and government's commitment to supporting and assisting our brothers in Yemen in all fields, and an affirmation of the importance of providing services and facilitating procedures to all segments of the Yemeni people without exception. This stems from the close fraternal ties between the peoples of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen, and is a continuation of the approach of the wise leadership to strengthen relations between the two countries and provide all means of support and facilities to Yemeni citizens inside Yemen, as well as those residing in the Kingdom, thus enhancing cooperation between the two countries in light of the circumstances facing Yemen. Al Jaber revealed that the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Yemen and its consulate have completed all preparations to receive applications from our brothers in Yemen and complete visa procedures without any delay through the work teams at the embassy and consulate who will work to serve our brothers in Yemen and implement the directives of the wise leadership in a way that strengthens the historical relationship between the Kingdom and Yemen. He indicated that work will be electronic and through the service offices accredited by the embassy in Sana'a and the consulate general in Aden.
